STORM DOOR - "...The LORD....maketh the storm a calm...." Psalm 107:28-29 KJV

Psalm 118:24 This is the day which the LORD hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.
Psalm 105:2 Sing unto him, sing psalms unto him: talk ye of all his wondrous works. 3 Glory ye in his holy name: let the heart of them rejoice that seek the LORD. 4 Seek the LORD, and his strength: seek his face evermore.
Psalm 121:2 My help cometh from the LORD, which made heaven and earth.
Ephesians 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in heavenly places in Christ: 7 In whom we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of sins, according to the riches of his grace;  John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. 17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. 18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
2 Corinthians 5:11 Knowing therefore the terror of the Lord, we persuade men; 1 Thessalonians 5:9 For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ.      2 Peter 3:9 The longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance. 2 Corinthians 5:20 Now then we are ambassadors for Christ, as though God did beseech you by us: we pray you in Christ's stead, be ye reconciled to God. 21 For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
Romans 5:1 Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ: 2 By whom also we have access by faith into this grace wherein we stand, and rejoice in hope of the glory of God. 3 And not only so, but we glory in tribulations also: knowing that tribulation worketh patience; 4 And patience, experience; and experience, hope: 5 And hope maketh not ashamed; because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us. 8 ...God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us. 9 Much more then, being now justified by his blood, we shall be saved from wrath through him. 10 For...we were reconciled to God by the death of his Son,.... 11 ...our Lord Jesus Christ, by whom we have now received the atonement. 12 Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned: 20 ...The law entered, that the offence might abound. But where sin abounded, grace did much more abound: 21 That as sin hath reigned unto death, even so might grace reign through righteousness unto eternal life by Jesus Christ our Lord.
1 Peter 5:5 ...Be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble. 6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time: 7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because your adversary the devil, as a roaring lion, walketh about, seeking whom he may devour: 9 Whom resist stedfast in the faith, knowing that the same afflictions are accomplished in your brethren that are in the world. 10 But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you. 11 To him be glory and dominion for ever and ever. Amen.
Revelation 4:11 Thou art worthy, O Lord, to receive glory and honour and power: for thou hast created all things, and for thy pleasure they are and were created.
Psalm 34:3 O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.
Romans 1:12 ...Comforted together with you by the mutual faith both of you and me.

1 Timothy 1:
1 Paul, an apostle of Jesus Christ by the commandment of God our Saviour, and Lord Jesus Christ, which is our hope.  2:1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men; 2 For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty. 3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; 4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. 5 For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; 6 Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time. 7 Whereunto I am ordained a preacher, and an apostle, (I speak the truth in Christ, and lie not;) a teacher of the Gentiles in faith and verity. 8 I will therefore that men pray every where, lifting up holy hands, without wrath and doubting.
Some of Numerous Objects of Concern and Care
Philippians 4:6 ...In every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving
let your requests be made known unto God.
The Unsaved
Romans 8:34 Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.
Hebrews 7:24 ...This man, because he continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood. 25 Wherefore he is able also to save them to the uttermost that come unto God by him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.
1 Corinthians 12:3 ...No man can say that Jesus is the Lord, but by the Holy Ghost.
1 John 5:11 ...God hath given to us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. 12 He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the Son of God hath not life.
Romans 10:9 ...If thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. 10 For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.
Fellow Christians
1 John 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life, and that ye may believe on the name of the Son of God.
Hebrews 4:14 ...We have a great high priest, that is passed into the heavens, Jesus the Son of God.... 16 Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Romans 1:7 ...Beloved of God, called to be saints: Grace to you and peace from God our Father, and the Lord Jesus Christ. 8 ...I thank my God through Jesus Christ for you all, that your faith is spoken of throughout the whole world. 9 ...I make mention of you always in my prayers. 5:5 ...The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts by the Holy Ghost which is given unto us.
Romans 8:16 The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God: 26 Likewise the Spirit also helpeth our infirmities: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself maketh intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 And he that searcheth the hearts knoweth what is the mind of the Spirit, because he maketh intercession for the saints according to the will of God. 28 And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
1 John 5:5 Who is he that overcometh the world, but he that believeth that Jesus is the Son of God? 7 ...There are three that bear record in heaven, the Father, the Word, and the Holy Ghost: and these three are one.

All Those Abused
....Abuse of any kind affects the victim in numerous ways - damaging body, soul, and also, spirit. It puts the victim into a place of bondage and pain; whereas Christ promises to bring freedom and healing.
Christian Survivors is run by a group of survivors of abuse who hope and trust in Jesus for their own healing and restoration; and who believe in the power of Christ to use their lives to see the hope of Isaiah 61 translated into the reality of the lives of those around them....

Don't Tell Me that You Understand
Don't tell me that you understand,
Don't tell me that you know.
Don't tell me that I will survive,
How I will surely grow.
Don't tell me this is just a test,
That I am truly blessed.
That I am chosen for the task,
Apart from all the rest.
Don't come at me with answers
That can only come from me,
Don't tell me how my grief will pass,
That I will soon be free.
Don't stand in pios judgment
Of the bonds I must untie,
Don't tell me how to grieve,
Don't tell me when to cry.
My life is filled with selfishness,
My pain is all I see,
But I need you and your love ...
Accept me in my ups and downs,
I need someone to share,
Just hold my hand and let me cry,
And say, "My friend, I care."
Romans 1:16 ...The gospel of the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. 17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith.... 10:1 Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is, that they might be saved.
Sanctity of Life
Psalm 139:1 O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me. 2 Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off. 14 I will praise thee; for I am fearfully and wonderfully made: marvellous are thy works; and that my soul knoweth right well.15 My substance was not hid from thee, when I was made in secret, and curiously wrought in the lowest parts of the earth. 16 Thine eyes did see my substance, yet being unperfect; and in thy book all my members were written, which in continuance were fashioned, when as yet there was none of them.

The old automobile had been restored and looked showroom new. It had not been easy ... pounding, sanding, painting, waxing, polishing ... and if the scrutineer looked too closely, he would see that there were still some unfinished parts.  The apostle Paul, looking back over his life and assessing who he had been and the differences that had been wrought, knew that the only one Source for that handiwork was the God Himself. From a rigid Pharisee to a missionary with grace woven throughout his life, the Lord had crafted a new man. Persecutions, shipwrecks, stoning and more were part of God's plan to mold Paul into the tool most useful for His purposes. Sometimes allowing the Lord to remake you can hurt. Certainly it's not comfortable. And there are doubtless some unfinished parts. But by His grace, you are becoming what is most effective for His use. As you pray for your own transformation, intercede for the others who are going through the same pounding and polishing ... especially those in our government and military ... that they would become "showroom new" in Him.
James 5:16 Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another,
that ye may be healed.
The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.
2 Corinthians 5:17 Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature:
old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new.
Ephesians 2:9 Not of works, lest any man should boast.
I Corinthians 15:10 But by the grace of God I am what I am:
and his grace which was bestowed upon me was not in vain....
1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous: 2 And he is the propitiation for our sins: and not for ours only, but also for the sins of the whole world.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son,
that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Romans 8:1 There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
